DCIL provided services to 210 persons with a disability during 2002-2003. Information & Referral - 4658 Recreation Services - 82 Of the 210 persons receiving Direct Services: 77 were male - 133 were female 177 white, 32 American Indian and one Hispanic The age range included: 6-17 years of age included 6 persons 18-22 years of age included 26 persons 23-64 years of age included 138 persons 65-over included 40 The disability groups served were as follows: Cognitive disabilities-62 Mental/Emotional disabilities-48 Physical disabilities-51 Hearing disabilities-15 Vision disabilities-9 Multiple disabilities-20 Other-5 Three people were successfully relocated from a nursing home or other institution to a community based living arrangement; & 13 other people whom IL services prevented the necessity of entering a nursing home or other institutions.
